Lightweight strollers good for everyday use

After I had my third baby the Hospital gave me the matching Graco carseat as a gift, however it did not fit in my old stroller so I decided to purchase a new one. I wanted to get one to match and the LiteRider baby stroller is the one that was a perfect match. I absolutely love it. They describe it as being light in weight but I find it to be just as nice and even better than my old travel system stroller. The smaller size is perfect to me.

I do have to warn you on one thing though when opening the stroller up from the folded position it may sound and feel like it is clicked into place, but you have to make sure it is completely locked. Please keep in mind that the one handed release that is used to fold has to be turned back into it’s original position. I unfortunately I discoverd this the hard way, I thought it was locked into place it apparently was not and collapsed on me while I was using it. Luckily my child was not in it when that happened. I find this Graco baby stroller to be easy for everyday use.

A double jogger with some pros and cons

The InStep Safari Swivel double jogging stroller is such a great deal. The price along with the free shipping were amazing. I absolutely enjoy the swivel wheel for walking and the option to lock it for when it is being used for running. I have children ages 3 and 12 months that for the most part they sit next to each other without too many complications. However the see through top is a very nice feature for when those problems do arise.

The baskets underneath along with the soft pouch and the console are appreciated. The baskets are large enough to hold the basic needs for quick errands. One thing I noticed though is they cannot hold a large diaper bag or numerous shopping bags so just keep in mind that this stroller is not designed for this type of use. The console and the soft pouch work well for bottled beverages only.

My one and only complaint that hopefully in the future can be improved upon is the shade or lack there of. There is just not an adequate emount of sun protection for the little ones which is especially difficult if you live in the South. This negative feature can be easily resolved with a purchase of the Ray Shade. This is just one extra expense you wish you did not have to make when purchasing a new stroller from InStep.

I almost forgot to mention an important factor, The stroller easily fits into a 4 door mid size sedans trunk but nothing else can be placed in there along with it. I really hope my review helps you with your decision. I give it 4 out of 5 as it is one of the better jogging strollers I’ve seen that can handle two children.

Awesome lighweight baby stroller

Maclaren is known for making some of the best lightweight baby strollers so I was excited to get the Quest Sport for our little one. I find that it is a well thought out, well built, and attractive stroller that doesn’t use the cheap parts on it that some of the other companies are known for. Maclaren uses metal in many places which will hold up far longer than plastic. We experienced problems with our prior Graco where the cheapo plastic on the fold up arm gave way. This one should avoid that problem.

My husband and I are pretty surprised at how much space the Quest Sport has for storing the things you need to take with you like diapers, keys, drinks, wipes, etc. It doesn’t look like it will have a lot of space but it seems to hold everything we need. Plus you can easily get to those items while your child is still securely strapped in, which was not possible on our prior stroller.

My one and only complaint with the lightweight Maclaren is that it is difficult to steer with only one hand, such as when you are on your cell phone. For some reason it doesn’t steer in a straight path real easily, probably because you can only hold one of the handles. This isn’t much of a problem and not any reason to keep me from giving it a perfect rating. It has been great for us and will definitely be around for our second baby as well.

As good as the more expensive lightweight strollers

I bought the Evenflo X Sport baby stroller and I really like it when compared to my old Graco that didn’t last. It has many great qualities. It’s light weight, easy to move around, small, holds a couple of drinks, and has enough room for other stuff like keys and a magazine to read when we are sitting. I find that the sunshade works well and seems to cover my son from the sun. I even have storage underneath for a couple of diapers and wipes, and I have the extra attachment that holds groceries. It works pretty good but you can’t overload it with too much stuff. I find that it will hold a few things when we need to make a quick stop to the grocery store.

This isn’t a full sized stroller but it does work good for walks around the park or mall, or even a quick trip to the doctor’s office. It is much easier to fold up than the larger baby strollers which honestly seem like overkill to me. I don’t think I ever need something that big. The Evenflo X Sport works great for what I need.

One negative I found is the seat doesn’t recline but I don’t think you can find a stroller as affordable and lightweight as this one that has a reclining seat. My little guy falls asleep in it anyways. I think he can sleep anywhere

Overall I give it 5 stars because it does everything I need. I might give it 4 stars if the reclining really bothered my son but he doesn’t seem to mind at all.

Works pretty well for our family

The Combi Helio DX was the type of lightweight baby stroller our family was looking for. Our child is almost 3 and is quite large for her age. She’s a big girl indeed and we have been using two other strollers since she was born that are big and cumbersome. We wanted to get something that was roomy enough for her but not as large as the other full sized stroller we have. Our hope is to not use that one anymore. The Combi Helio works well because she likes to walk sometimes, but when she is tired she can just sit down for the ride.

We also needed a stroller that had a drink holder for her though it would have been nice to have one for myself as well. Most of the qualities of the Helio DX are great with the exception of a couple of things. The storage area underneath is not very big. We find we can only put a diaper bag under there with nothing else. The leg room is also not that great for our daughter. This is really only a problem when she falls asleep and her legs fall off of the rests and hit the wheels. Not sure how much bigger she can get and still be able to fit comfortably, but she’ll likely be out of strollers altogether soon anyways.

The things our family likes about it are the lightweight design, compact and easy folding, and very smooth ride for our baby. It’s simple to push and move around which is great compared to our prior models. Overall it is a good value for the money and will suit our family for the time being.

Very good baby stroller for our children

We bought the Baby Trend double Expedition jogger around 6 months ago to replace a lightweight stroller that just wasn’t holding up to our two toddlers. We liked the features of this one and especially liked that the price was half of the competition. This is a solid value especially for a jogging stroller.

I would say that the biggest positive about it is the ease of pushing it with both children strapped in. It has larger wheels that track nicely over bumps and other things you encounter. We have used this for hours on end at a time with no problems at all. Even when you aren’t jogging it still runs great.

The locking/unlocking feature is another thing I like. I find that I like to lock the wheels when I feel like going faster and won’t be turning (like when I’m running or fast walking). The storage on these strollers is also a nice surprise as there is more than we had on our other model. It also has two cup holders and the canopy covers them up nicely during the sunny weather.

Here is one thing that I don’t like and the reason that I didn’t give it a perfect rating. The width seems to be just a bit wider than a normal sized door will fit. Sometimes you can muscle it in but sometimes it simply will not make it through the doorway. I have had to not go into certain stores because of the width of the double Expedition. Maybe Baby Trend could look into narrowing it up just a touch.

Overall I recommend this stroller in either the single or double configuration as I feel it ranks up there with the far more expensive jogging strollers, but with a much lower price. We use it often and love taking our kids out in style.

Terrific and modern looking stroller

We decided to buy the Quinny Buzz baby stroller after doing some online research and have been happily using it ever since. We looked at a variety of strollers including BOB, Bugaboo, and Graco but just didn’t see anything else that we liked. Some were out of our price range too but we didn’t completely rule them out until we saw the Quinny. It is easy to unfold (with a little bit of muscle) and the smoothest operating baby stroller that we have ever used. We even go on many types of terrain and don’t have any problems with the wheels at all.

As a parent I really like the way it looks, as you are used to seeing those boring looking models that most people buy. We didn’t want to be one of those parents so we tried to find something modern looking, and we did. I will say that we didn’t find many things that we do not like about it but one thing that bugs me is the size of it when folded. It takes up a lot of space, more than you would think when it is folded up. If you have a normal sized trunk you might find the Quinny Buzz takes up a good chunk of it. For those with minivans no worry but I have a car and would have liked a smaller footprint. Our prior stroller took up less space even though we hated it.

Also, the sun shade is not as long as you would like. Now there is a zip in windshield which is supposed to compensate so it’s not a big deal. The storage basket that is included gives us ample space for our diaper bag and a couple of bottles for the little one. You actually get more room in it than you would think when you look at it.

Overall this is a very nice baby stroller. While it is a little large it is very stylish and high quality. It works good in a variety of conditions and keeps our child comfortable at all times.

Very nice baby stroller for all weather

I was reluctant about spending money on the Phil and Teds Dash baby buggy, especially since we were going to use it as a single stroller for at least a couple of years before having our second child. I use it a couple of times a day and can say confidently that I made the best choice. These strollers really can handle a variety of terrain and weather including rain, snow, and ice. The larger tires help with the rough stuff.

The construction seems solid and it is one of the best looking baby strollers I have seen. I feel like it will hold up for many years even though I use it every day. It is a modern stroller with enough bells and whistles for our family.

When I go walking with my sister in law who has a standard stroller she always has trouble going over large curbs but my Phil and Ted just rolls over with no problems. Needless to say she will be buying one for her next baby stroller when they have their next little one.

Now, I’ve only used it as a single but I do plan on using it as a double someday. I can confidently recommend it for a single and I’m sure it will be great as a double but cannot say for sure yet. From looking at it there is no reason to believe that it won’t handle two children.

I also find the Dash to be not too heavy and it fits easily in the trunk of our car with no trouble. Folding it takes a little getting used to as I pinched my fingers a couple of times at first. After researching many different strollers and reading other reviews I can say that I don’t regret this purchase at all. Our growing family really appreciates it.

Nice double stroller from a well known company

One thing I can say upfront is I am happy with the Graco DuoGlider LX baby stroller. We have a 3 month old girl and a toddler boy so we needed something that could carry both children at once. A good thing about these strollers is they can switch seats if they get uncomfortable or just want a change of scenery. We would rather have the baby upfront because she is harder to see when she is in the back because of the umbrella but overall not a big deal.

The Graco Snugride car seat fits very nicely in both slots and is quite solid. Also, the stroller is easy to push and move around even though it is a double. And it is not very heavy feeling at all, even with both of our children securely seated. With the nimble design you would think our son would be a little squeezed in the seats but they are bigger than other strollers like the DuoGlider.

I am only giving it 4 stars for a couple of reasons though. While it does fold up very easily like Graco claims it seems to take up more room in our trunk than it should. One of the front tires also got a little bent so we’ll have to replace that. Not sure if it happened while folding it up or if we hit something. It does still ride smoothly so it’s not a huge problem but should be mentioned in this review.

Our family likes it. While it’s not the cheapest of twin baby strollers it certainly is not the most expensive. It works well for what we need it for and keeps our two babies very comfortable and quite secure when we are out on the town. It is an attractive stroller as well and does get some looks when we have it out shopping at the local mall. We recommend it to other parents with more than one child.

The best baby stroller for our family

I bought the Bugaboo Cameleon Complete baby stroller in the green color around 1 year ago when our little one was born and have been in love with it since then. There are many things to really like about these unique looking strollers which was what attracted us to them in the first place.

The biggest reason we decided to buy the Cameleon was that we didn’t want to end up buying 2 or 3 strollers as our family grew. We not only wanted a model that was built to last but also one that could handle children of a variety of ages. The Bugaboo delivers on both of those requirements.

We also wanted adjustable handlebars as my husband is quite a bit taller than me. Other stroller models that we tried out just weren’t comfortable for him to push so we passed. If we are going to spend a lot of money on one we wanted it to be just right for us. These strollers also were always among the best rated of any that we looked at.

The bassinet portion of the Cameleon is very comfortable and our daughter would fall asleep in it with no problems. We would even sometimes just leave her in it in her room as she slept more soundly in that than in her crib. It was convenient not having to move her around. As she got bigger the baby stroller could handle her with no problems. As she outgrew the bassinet she just used the standard seat. It’s adjustable so she can sit up, tilt back a little, or lie completely flat. She is so comfortable in her stroller that she can take a nap on long walks or shopping trips.

And the attention this thing gets when you are walking around is great. It really looks awesome up close and other parents are always asking us questions about it. If you are thinking about getting the Bugaboo Cameleon Complete I would say GET IT. It is expensive but for everything you get it is well worth it. Your child will love it as much as you do.
